Meet Grace and Kaleighia, the dynamic duo behind Hey Big Heads, a creative collaboration formed between two 3rd generation Springfield residents. What started as a line of hair care products for natural/curly hair during the pandemic has now grown into a community-focused effort to host events like open mic, spoken word poetry, paint and sip, and more.
Hey Big Heads is all about self-love, building community, and supporting one another. Their events are a safe place for creatives of all walks of life, diverse backgrounds, and ages, and are designed to uplift and enlighten anyone who attends. Like many other Springfield residents, Grace and Kaleighia are excited to see their city shine and are actively working towards that goal by being the change they wish to see and making space for others to enjoy Springfield as well.
In addition to their events, Grace and Kaleighia are also deeply involved in the arts and culture scene in Springfield. Kaleighia assists Make-It-Springfield with art exhibits and showcases and Grace serves as the house manager of the Artist Cafe, a new cafe in downtown Springfield that has quickly become the go-to venue for art and music events. Kaleighia, meanwhile, serves as the Art Director of the cafe, bringing her creative vision to the space. The Artist Cafe is not only a great place for art and music events, but it's also a great meeting space for business professionals.
If you're looking to get involved in your community and surround yourself with like-minded individuals, be sure to check out Hey Big Heads' events and follow them on social media to stay up to date on all their happenings. You can also visit the Artist Cafe to experience the creative vision of Grace and Kaleighia firsthand.
