Sustain

At the Springfield Creative City Collective (SCCC), we understand that Springfield has been negatively affected by the consequences of unsustainable creative and cultural development efforts. Accessible economic development initiatives in Springfield historically do not have longevity. Due to the gravity of the disparities and intersecting societal issues, investment efforts are often short-lived and fall short of the results they initially claimed they would produce.

That's why we have established our "sustain" pillar, which is focused on implementing sustainable initiatives to strengthen the creative and cultural economy of Springfield, as well as to ensure the continued growth and prosperity of the Greater Springfield region through the arts and culture industries.

One of the ways we are building a sustainable creative community is through our sponsorship of the New Year Better Us conference. The conference is a gathering of local leaders, artists, and entrepreneurs who are committed to creating a more equitable and sustainable community. The conference offers workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities that are designed to help attendees develop the skills and connections they need to build a more sustainable future.

We believe that by investing in sustainable initiatives like the New Year Better Us conference, we can create a stronger and more resilient creative community that will benefit everyone in Springfield. We invite you to join us in this effort and take advantage of the resources and opportunities we have to offer.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to working with you to build a sustainable creative economy in Springfield!
